Full Description

During an extension of a property in King Street, Canterbury, a post-medieval boundary wall was uncovered to the rear of the property. Constructed from flint, the wall "follows the alignment of the original south-west wall of the current property, and seems likely to have formed a contemporary structure, associated with its early years of occupation…. The alignment may have preserved that of earlier properties which stood on the site". (1)
