Full Description
Summarised from report:
In an area to the North West and slightly detached from the Grand Shaft Barracks complex, a infants school was constructed between 1902-1903. It was constructed using red brick with Portland stone dressings and a Welsh slate roof. The buildings which were constructed in this located were demolished early in the 1960s following the re-routing of the North Military Road through the North Lines. (1)
A plan dated to 1903, immediately after the building had been completed, shows the detail of this structure, including measurements and notes about construction and utility pipes, as well at the interior layout and some of the external features. (2)
