Full Description
The Congregational Chapel in Kennington was built in 1863 and is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900, 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps. The original building was demolished in 1971 and a new church was built on the same site. At the same time the Congregational (United Reformed) Church amalgamated with the methodist Church. This building is shown on the current O/S map.
