Full Description
The present Baptist chapel on the corner of Station Road and St John's Lane was built in 1881 of yellow brick with red brick dressings. The front is of three bays with a wide round-arched entrance and giant Corinthian pilasters supporting an entablature and parapet raised over the centre bay. At the rear facing St John's Lane is the former chapel of 1830 with a refenestrated front of three bays, plain pilasters and small pediment over the centre. It is used as the church hall.(1)
