Full Description
Excavations undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust in the St. James area of Dover revealed the north-east and south-west walls of a Quaker Cemetery fronting onto Woolcomber Street. the walls are 7.8m apart and are constructed of stone. It is clear that these walls predated the cemetery, presumably formerly delimiting the old garden plot purchased by the Quakers. (1)
