Monument record TR 34 SW 2131 - Post Medieval features St. James area Dover (trench CAT-WSD-SE)

Summary

Excavations undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust in the St. James area of Dover revealed a number of post medieval features cutting into the underlying Medieval archaeology. These included several boundary walls, a large circular bread oven (of a possible 17th century date), a stone lines well and a cess tank. (location accurate to the nearest 1m based on available information)
