Full Description
The earliest reference to a deer park at Brasted dates to 1310. The precise boundary is unknown but good earthwork evidence survives for its' northern and western boundaries. In 1547 the park covered 180 acres, c. 1570 it covered 256 acres and in 1613 193 acres. (1)
