Full Description
Probable cemetery site or isolated grave group represented by a coarse cordoned urn, four pedestal urn bases, a flat-footed base and fragmentary 'S'-sided bowl (Whimster 1981, 480).
The pedestal urn and other fragments were 'mostly collected by Dr. Ince from the heaps of debris in the pit; but four U-shaped depressions were noticed in trenching through the gravel, and these were no doubt burial pits as at Aylesford (Ince 1928, 94). <1>
