Landscape record TQ 54 SW 358 - Northlands Park, Penshurst
Summary
Two parks had been established at penshurst by the 1550s - North Park and Northlands. They existed before this time but it was not until the 1550s that they are clearly differentiated in documents. Although there are extensive documents from the early 14th century onwards the location and boundaries of the parks are ambiguous.
