Monument record TR 15 NE 1785 - Late medieval chalk and flint building, Staplegate
Summary
From 2012-2015 a series of excavations at Staplegate, Canterbury revealed a building of chalk and flint in area 3. Measuring 3.13 x 2.48 m in size, the building was later extended. Probably associated with the building was an assemblage of medieval floor tiles of 14th/15th century date, a well and associated structure, and a hearth
