`A small schooner, coal laden, was wrecked yesterday evening at Dungeness Point. The only letters visible on her stern are COPY or CUPY; an old bible was found with William Grigg, Fareham, Hants., written on the cover; crew missing. (See Deal paragraph in list of yesterday.)' (2)

`The COPY (schooner) of Sunderland, sunk after being in collision last night with the WILLIAM AND JOHN (brig) of and from Sunderland, for Southampton, which has anchored in the Downs: crew saved.' (3)
