Vessel sprang a leak in a strong NE. gale, making for port at low water ebb, at 6.30am. Heavy seas carried away two of the deck hands who drowned. Two survivors rescued by the BRADFORD lifeboat, assisted by the tug AID, were landed at 9pm. The lifeboat was unable to get near sooner, due to the low tide.
