Full Description
Vessel drove from her anchors and foundered in wind conditions SW. force 10. The N. Deal lifeboat VAN KOOK, answered her distress signals and put to sea, but on reaching the N. Brake area found that this vessel had already gone to pieces and vanished. The lifeboat went on to save a total of 17 lives from two other vessels, the HEDVIG SOPHIA and the D'ARTAGNAN.
