Monument record TQ 63 NW 2 - Great Bayhall Manor, Moat and Fishpond, Great Bayhall, Tunbridge Wells

Summary

Great Bayhall Manor was rebuilt in the 17th century. It is thought that it began to fall into disrepair at the end of the 18th century and by the early part of the 20th century was a ruin. There is a large fishpond and a moat at the site but this is mutilated. Only the SW arm of the moat and the pond remain water-filled. Nothing remains of the house but a few overgrown footings.
