Maritime record TR 36 SE 160 - Lorma

Capsized and sank following collision with the SS GODMANDUN, which killed 8 of her 9 crew. A few days later, Trinity House raised the wreck and the tender WARDEN towed it, still upside down, to Pegwell Bay. There it was blown up using guncotton, and in a spectacular explosion wreckage was flung several hundred feet in the air. (2)(3)

Source (2) calls the vessel a barque, (3) (4) and (5) a schooner.

Source (5) gives the position of loss as about 6 miles off Dover.

There are three entries for this vessel in the United Kingdom Shipwreck Index, under Kent Goodwin Sands with a date of loss of 30-JUL-1890; under Kent Downs, giving a date of 31-JUL-1891, and under Kent Mainland, which, with source (2), gives a date of 30-JUL-1891.
