Ex: LADY EVELYN. A well known paddle steamship, acquired in 1922 by Messrs. P.and A. Campbell who operated her until hired as a minesweeper in October 1939. She was engaged in the withdrawl of the British Army from the beaches of Dunkirk, when during that operation she collided with a submerged wreck in the Down and foundered.
