Built as the ARK RALEIGH for Sir Walter Raleigh, a galleon of 55 guns; re-named ARK ROYAL, re-named ANNE ROYAL in 1603, rebuilt at Woolwich dockyard in 1608, wrecked and broken up where she lay.
