Full Description
[TQ 67424735] Mesolithic type flake found Jan.1955 at Whitbread's, Beltring Oast-Houses. In possession of Messrs. Whitbreads (1) Unearthed when excavating foundations for a building at Messrs. Whitbreads Beltring Oast houses, Jan 1955 (2) [TQ 67324740] Find spot pointed out by the finder Mr. A. Brooks, employee of Messrs. Whitbreads. The flint is kept at the oast house but was not available for inspection. (3) Not mentioned in the Mesolithic Gazetteer. (4)
