The Success was a British sailing vessel Master: Barnes Date of Loss Qualifier: R Additional sources cited in United Kingdom Shipwreck Index. Lloyds List No.3534, 05.12.1769 (1)

Lloyd's List (No 3534 5th of December 1769) notes that: ' The Success (sailed by) Barnes from Liverpool to Chester was drove ashore upon (the) Dover bank, the people are all saved but it is feared the vessel will be lost' (1)
