Full Description

Left the Downs on 26th April 1786 bound for India, was back in the Downs again on 8th December 1787, when she was lost whilst entering the Thames. Cargo loaded in China. The value of her cargo homeward bound was as follows: Drugs and chinaware - 141 chests = 1220.16s.8d Callico, 2800 pieces of Nankeen cloth =495.3s.10d Tea, 1700 chests of Bohea tea = 59,290.5s.2d Congou, 328 chests =4,302.2s.7d Hyson, 136 chests =4,239.0s.9d Singlo, 1232 chests = 18,780.0s.9d Total value of cargo 88,327 9s 9d Year Built: 1785 Builder: Adams Armament: 24 x cannon Owner: East India Company Master: Farington.
