`The LORD NELSON, Phillips, from Sandwich to London, is on shore near Margate; crew drowned.' (2)

Source (3) expresses 01-DEC-1801 as the actual date of loss, rather than reporting date. The vessel may have been lost during the gale reported at the beginning of source (2), i.e. 27-NOV-1801:
`Extract - Deal 28th Nov. All last night the wind blew a violent storm, attended with hail and rain...'
