Full Description
TQ 450475 (sited to place name only). A medium sized mesolithic tranchet axe or adze found at Battleden Field, Mowshurst is now in Maidstone Museum. Information from R.M. Jacobi. (The reference given by Wymer to Harding 1970, see TQ 44 NW 10, appears to have no connection with this site.) (1-2)
