Full Description
Vessel drove ashore on the Varne in wind conditions WSW force 7, but managed to reach Margate. Two weeks later, on 24th November, in a severe SSE force 8 gale which then changed direction to ENE force 9, she drove ashore and broke up, demolishing the refreshment room on the pier and some 200 feet of the pier itself, causing 5,000 of damage.
