Full Description

Holy Trinity Church , Margate was built in 1825 and destroyed by enemy action in 1943. A new church was built adjacent to the existing St Mary's Chapel in Clifttonville (TR 37 SE 1364), which was consecrated in 1959. The church is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900, 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps. (1)

The Victorian remains of Trinity Church are visible as a demolished building on RAF/58/619 Vp1 5070 11-APR-1951. The features were mapped as part of the Thanet Landscape Mapping Project. (2)
