Summary
A number of Groynes are visible on later 19th and early 20th century OS maps of Dover. On the OS First Edition 8 of these groynes (which are designed to decrease erosion and drift) are visible between East Cliffe and Wellington Dock. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
