Summary

Former Congregational Chapel, formerly Independent Mathodist Chapel, Faversham. Former Countess of Huntingdon's Chapel in Partridge Lane built in 1789. In 1828 it became Congregational, but when a new chapel was built in Newton Road in 1879, the chapel closed and has since been in secular use. The walls are of brick with two tiers of windows in the side walls, the upper ones formerly round-arched. The front is gabled but largely obscured by later staircase wings.

Full Description

The former Congregational Chapel on Partridg Lane, Faversham is shown as an Independent methodist Chapel on the 1862-75 map. It is the shown as a Congregational Chapel on the 1897-1900 and 1907-23 maps. The building, as shown on the current O/S map, is now used for industrial purposes.

Former Countess of Huntingdon's Chapel in Partridge Lane built in 1789.
