Building record TQ 86 SW 175 - Cardiphonia Methodist Chapel, The Street, Hartlip, Swale

The Bible Christian Chapel, now the Methodist Church, on The Street, Hartlip was built in 1820. It is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900, 1907-23, 1929-52 and current O/S maps and is still in use.

Bible Christian chapel built in 1821. The walls are rendered and the roof slated. The plan is a double square to which a hall was added to the rear in 1907. The east front has a central doorway, originally with a pediment over, but now with a porch. Altered since 1972. (1)
