Exclusively linear features dating to the Romano-British period were discovered sparsely distributed across the site with no clear foci. A number of the undated features likely belong to this period. The nature of the dated features suggests a field system.

Full Description

Exclusively linear features dating to the Romano-British period were discovered sparsely distributed across the site with no clear foci. A number of the undated features likely belong to this period. The nature of the dated features suggests a field system.

Finds included pottery, animal bone and oyster shell. (1)

A Late Iron Age or early Roman period enclosure was also reported to have been identified during the excavation. (2)
