Full Description
A blade core with opposed striking platforms from the subsoil in Trench 47, a blade from Trench 39 and, less certainly, a possible bifacial core tool rough out from pit 5306 in Trench 53 are though to be Early Neolithic in date. These finds may represent traces of early prehistoric flint working that predate the later Bronze Age industry on the site and may "provide the only evidence for the primary
occupation at Lady Dane Farm". (1)
