Full Description
A walkover survey carried out in 2009 examined an area from which palaeolithic faunal remains have been found. These include mammoth and rhino teeth. Various tree trunks were recorded that probably drifted to the site and lines of posts observed that probably represent a fish trap. One post line ran west-west for more than 200 m. At the west end was a roughly tear-drop ring of posts. Another row ran north-south to join the main east-west line (1)
