Findspot record TQ 57 SE 1095 - Palaeolithic finds and deposits, Stone Lodge, Dartford
Summary
Three Palaeolithic artefacts were found, one moderately-large broken knapped chunk, and two technologically undiagnostic waste flakes. These represent stray finds transported and incorporated within the predominantly-fluvial terrace deposits. In addition Palaeolithic assessment confirmed the investigated area was underlain by Middle Pleistocene deposits.
