Building record TR 14 NE 143 - Former open-fronted shelter, Little Breach Farm, Valley Road, Barham, Kent

Summary

The former shelter is brick built, and of a single storey, and is rectangular in plan, measuring approximately 7.3m in length bym5.0m in width. The features of the building suggest it was built during the early part of the eighteenth century. Its location along one side of a farmyard implies agricultural use. Its form and position suggest it was a shelter, one that was perhaps used to store equipment and materials rather than animals or produce.
