Medieval field systems, represented by boundary ditches, many of which were maintained into the post-medieval period, with some of these field divisions surviving into the late 20th century. A possible late medieval enclosure, perhaps enclosing a farmstead, was also identified alongside the line of the former Roman road.

A relatively large assemblage of post-Roman pottery was found on the site: 349 sherds, weighing 3481g. Most dates from the late 12th to late 14th century and included cooking pots, bowls and jugs. A large assemblage of medieval peg tile, a small amount of post-medieval brick, animal bone and medieval oyster shell were also found. Unusually, six well-preserved medieval nails, a U shaped staple, a complete masonry nail or wall anchor, and a heavy chisel or similar whittle tanged tool were found. The chisel came from context [104/012], which also contained 13th-16th roof tile. (1)
