Full Description
The archaeological evaluation of the land at 133 Sturry Road in Canterbury, Kent, involved the cutting of two trenches within which no significant archaeological deposits or features were found.
Within the two trenches fragments of clay pipes, peg tiles and sherds of pottery and brick were found throughout with a foundation trench for the Scout Hut observed in trench one. Besides these relatively residual features, nothing of significant archaeological importance was discovered. (1)
