Drove ashore and was wrecked in wind conditions S force 10. (2)

`EMMA schooner of Goole was abandoned last night in a sinking condition off the North Foreland, master and crew getting on board another schooner. Subsequently the EMMA came ashore on the rocks near Kingsgate; the Coastguard took charge and are now endeavouring to get her off and proceed to Ramsgate; cargo pipe clay. Wind NW, strong. (Margate, November 19)...EMMA schooner of Goole was observed at daylight on North Foreland Rocks; crew left her before boarded; vessel full of water, cargo not yet known. (Kingsgate near Broadstairs, November 19)...EMMA reported ashore near Kingsgate yesterday (Nov 19) is under water each tide. Coastguard salving all they can. Vessel likely to be total wreck. Wind WNW, strong, hazy. (Margate, November 20)' (3)
