Summary
A feature resembling a moat near Sprivers. There appears to be the remainder of an eastern and a northern arm as well as parts of the adjoining angles. The Sprivers has been in the same family for c.200 years and the area has been known as "The Moat".

Full Description
TQ 69354005: To the N of "Sprivers" is a wet, moat-like feature comprising an E arm with SE and NE angle and a portion of the N arm; of the remainder, if it ever existed, no trace remains. The owner of Sprivers (a) (which has been in the same family for over 200 years) has always known this as "The Moat"; a manor of Sprivers is listed by Hasted (b). Published survey (OS 25") correct.
