Full Description
Relatively narrow building located down a narrow side street, part of the same build as No 18 High Street which backs onto this. There is a modern timber door at the ground floor level located on the north eastern side of the façade, with a small, also modern, window on its south western side. The brickwork surrounding both this window and door is new suggesting that both of these openings have been inserted at a later date. There is a single window at the first floor level, located centrally within the façade. This building is taller than its north eastern neighbour (No. 2) and the north eastern side of the second floor is visible above it. There is a window on this side at the second floor level, as well as a brick stack. There is a modern plastic gutter down pipe located over the north eastern party wall, running from the roof level down to the pavement level. A number of modern features are attached to the main façade, including a light and a satellite dish, the wiring for which crosses the façade. Overall the building is in a good condition.
All of the openings at all levels are modern though are in timber painted green and are in an in-keeping style to the age of the building. All are in a good condition.
The roof structure was not clearly seen from this narrow street, but it is gabled with the gable ends over the north eastern and south western party walls. (1)
