It is located on a quiet street (Erith Place) that runs parallel to and is at a higher level than the busy London Road. There is a possibly original iron railing separating this raised street from London Road below. Forms part of a short terrace of four small cottage style houses.

Forms part of a short block of four small cottage style houses located on the south western side of London Road/Erith Place. Erith Place is a quiet road which runs parallel and is raised from London Road on its south western side. These four buildings are recessed from their neighbours on the south eastern side and north western sides. It is in a painted (white) brick with the ground floor slightly raised from the street level and accessed via a set of six steps. A low rendered wall is located on the south eastern side of these steps with a possibly original iron railing above and stretches the length of the front garden area. The garden area to the front of this building is untidy and raised from the street level and there is a low brick wall at the point where it meets the street. The door is located on the south eastern side of the façade immediately abutting the south eastern party wall. There is a narrow rectangular window above the transom over the door. There is a single window at the ground floor level; this has a gauged flat brick arch over and a small painted (white) sill. There is a single window at the first floor level also, located on the north western side of the façade and aligning with the ground floor window below. This also has a flat gauged brick arch over. There is a possibly original iron and timber balcony at the first floor level with a metallic roof, stretching across the whole of the first floor level and continuing onto the neighbours on both sides. Two small vents are located at the base of the ground floor level, possibly indicating the presence of a basement below this building. A fair amount of vegetation is attached to brickwork across the façade, particularly over the north western party wall. A rendered parapet is located above the metallic roof of this balcony at the top of the first floor level. Overall the building appears to be structurally sound and in a fairly good condition.

The door, which is located on the south eastern side of the façade, is modern and in a treated timber. It has six panels of an unequal size and a semi circular window at its top. A narrow rectangular window with a timber frame is located above the transom over this door. The ground and first floor windows are both later plastic insertions. Overall the windows and doors are good condition with all panes present and intact.

The roof structure could not be seen from the street level as it is located behind a parapet. There is a brick stack located over both the south eastern and north western party walls with a tall aerial attached to the northern. (1)
