Summary

During an archaeological watching brief undertaken by Canterbury Archaeological Trust on works undertaken within Arthurs Lesser Hall on the southern side of the inner bailey at Dover Castle in 1990, a cobbled surface and brick lined drain were uncovered benath the modern floor level. (location accurate to the nearest 10m based on available information)
