Forms part of a block of five (20-24) Victorian dwellings located on the north eastern side of London Road. It is in a brown brick with rendered and painted (cream) ground floor and basement level and red brick and stone detailing. The ground floor door, which is located on the south eastern side of the façade, is raised from the street level and accessed via a set of seven steps. There are low rendered walls with iron railings on either side of these steps and two tall rendered gate piers at the street level. A further door is located beneath these steps up to the ground floor providing separate access to the basement level. The ground floor door has a gothic arch over and there is a window located above the transom over the door within this arch. There are eight windows located across the façade. The ground floor and basement level windows, located on the northern side of the door, consist of large three light canted bays, one on top of the other with rendered mullions and a flat roof. The tops of the openings within this bay at the first floor level are rounded. There are three windows on both the first and second floor levels, one on each floor aligns with the door while the other two are are closely spaced and align with the bat windows below. The first floor windows have a gothic arches over with red brick detailing and a decorative stone keystone above, while the tops of the second floor windows rest directly below the eaves. The render over the ground floor and basement level stops just below the first floor windows and there is a rendered string course at its top which forms a continuous sill to all of the first floor windows. There are a few small cracks to the render, particularly on the string course. Several modern features are attached to the façade at various locations including satellite dish which is located at the base of the first floor level over the north western party wall, with the associated wiring draped untidily across the façade. A modern gutter down pipe is located over the north western party wall, running from the eaves down to the basement level. There is a low rendered brick wall with iron railing above separating the basement area from the street level, there are a few large cracks in this render. A gap in this wall, at its north western end also with tall rendered gate piers, leads down some steps to the basement level door. Overall the building is in a good condition and appears to be structurally sound.

The ground floor door appears to be original and is in timber painted light red with seven panels. There is a window with a gothic arch above the transom over this door, this has a timber frame painted white and appears to be fixed. The basement level door is modern and in plastic. The ground floor and basement level windows consist of large, three light, canted bays, one on top of the other with rendered mullions and a flat roof. The three first floor windows have a gothic arches over with red brick detailing and a decorative stone keystone above, while the tops of the second floor windows are flat and rest directly below the eaves. All of these windows modern plastic replacements and are in a good condition.

The roof is hipped with concrete tiles. There are two rendered stacks over the both party walls, the northern is much larger than the southern. It is in a good condition with no signs of bowing or slipped tiles, though there is some lichen growth.(1)
