Monument record TQ 67 SW 1502 - Room 10509 in the Ebbsfleet Roman Villa Bath-House

Summary

Room 10509 is 3m square, surrounded by ragstones and ceramic walls bonded with yellow mortar (1). Wall survived to a height of 0.70m with a width of 0.60m. The internal face of the wall was coated in opus signinum and a layer of red-painted plaster. A tile and opus signinum bench or step was built agains the internal south wall. The floor was tiled and mostly survived intact.
