Monument record TQ 67 SW 1505 - Room 10697 in the Ebbsfleet Roman Villa Bath-House

Summary

Room 10697 in the Roman Villa Bath-House was identified during excavations in advance of the CTRL HS1. This room was built at the same time as, or after room 10624 was expanded. The room measured 3.50 m by 2 m and comprised wall which made of flint nodules and yellow mortar and measured 0.48 m wide and survived to a height of 0.30 m. A wall was added to the south creating a new space ( Room 10563) and expanding the room to measure 3.50 m by 3.70 m.(1).
