Full Description
The former Parish Workhouse in Marden was built in about 1790. It continued to be used intermittantly to house the poor of the parish until it bwas sold in 1962. The building was then demolished and replaced by The Allens, affordable housing for the elderly, on the same site. This information is provided by Marden History Group.
