Building record TQ 65 NE 438 - Sub-octagonal structure, West Malling Airfield, Kings Hill
Summary
A sub-octagonal brick-built structure standing c. 1m above ground in the middle of Zone 4 at the northern periphery of the airfield. The structure is roofless and the walls are blast-proof strength. The structure is visible on the 1947 AP and probably dates from the later wartime use of the airfield as a night fighter base.
