The former British School for boys, girls and infants in Margate, opened in about 1850 by the British & Foeign Schools Society, is shown on the 1862-75 map. The building continued to be used as a school, as shown on the 1897-1900, 1907-23 and 1929-52 maps. It would now appear to be office premises (Old Schools Lodge), as shown on the current O/S map.
