Attacked in misty weather by HMS. BROKE (Cdr. Edward Evans) and HMS. SWIFT (Cdr. Ambrose Peck), the former actually ramming and sinking the enemy vessel, after which she saved 140 of the German crew. Vertical Datum: LAT Torpedoed and sunk by HMS BROKE, possibly also rammed. 31-AUG-1973 Obstruction 180 x 100m 10-FEB-1983 Wreck 35m, in general depth 37m. 13-AUG-1986 in 51 07 39N, 001 40 42E Depth 35 in general depth 36-37m, scour depth 41m, height not obtained, lies NW/SE, mainly in a large scour. 04-MAY-1989 in 51 07 39N, 001 40 42.5E. Depth 35.2 in general depth 36-37m, scour depth 41m, mostly buried within large scour. Lies 114/294degs. Possibly G85. (2)
