Full Description

Sank following collision with the brigantine RAYMOND, of London, between the West Cant buoy and Garrison Point, Sheerness, in wind conditions WSW. force 9. Year Built: 1868 Owner: E. After sinking at Cant Edge Buoy, the three masted schooner DASHING WAVE was raised and beached at Sheerness near the Port Victoria Pier with her decks just clear at low water. Tenders were invited to remove her cargo of scrap iron. (Reported 30th March 1908) (3)
