Maritime record TR 34 SW 362 - Wreck of Shipmates, Dover, Kent

Summary

Shipmates was a fishing drifter weiging 82 tons, constructed in 1911 was hired by the Admiralty between 1915-19 and armed with one 6pdr. gun. She was hired again as a flare drifter and armed in 11.1939. Converted to an auxilary patrol drifter in 08.1940, she was sunk during an air raid by German aircraft on 14/11/1940.(location accurate to the nearest 100m based on available information)
