Full Description
St Mildred's Tannery was established in 1838 and closed in 2002. It was then demolished and porivate residences built on the site. It housed a waterpowered bark mill for the tanning process. The tannery is shown on the 1862-75, 1897-1900 and 1907-23 maps.
