Full Description

During archaeological investigations in 2018 a possible tether for a barrage balloon was found in site '3'.

A concrete stanchion had been found in the 2016 evaluation and it has been suggested thhat it was a tetheriong point for a barrage ballon, probably of Second World War date. (1)
